Here are a few words from Tania:

Tania Joyce and Milo“Since childhood, I have always had a passion for the arts, photography and nature, enjoying the simple pleasure of putting pencil to paper and capturing the natural world through a lens.

After completing a General Art and Design diploma, I left my village home in Essex and moved to London to study Public Art & Design at Chelsea School of Art, specialising in fine art mural painting and mosaics.

My first employed role was as a Photographer’s assistant at Imperial College, where I trained in traditional photographic and darkroom techniques. Whilst working, I studied for a degree in Photography & Multimedia at the University of Westminster and graduated with First Class (Hons). During this time I discovered Photoshop which inspired a future career path in design and multimedia. The image below is ‘Medusa’ one of a series from my final show at University.

MedusaAs well as working for several years in photography and graphic design roles at both Imperial College and the Wellcome Trust,  I was also employed part-time as a lecturer and trainer in digital media. After developing a wealth of experience, I became self employed and Liquid Jigsaw was born.

This marked the beginning of a diverse range of projects and opportunities that have shaped my career in design. My business provides a dedicated creative service and I am a perfectionist with an attention to detail that ensures that my clients are more than happy with the work they have commissioned. I have developed long standing working relationships with many of my clients, some of whom I have been working with for over 15 years.

I share my studio in the forest with a friendly lurcher called Milo and a small grey cat called Monty.”
